Pierre Page, a center
for the Tigers, had completed his 4 years of eligibility making him ineligible. This wasn't learned
until Thu. Nov. 18th when DAL dropped him from their roster due to mounting pressure from pending
protests. The AIAA president, Fred Driscoll, held a conference call with league officials on Tue. Nov. 23
where they declared Pierre and MUN goalie, Doug Grant, ineligible and all games involving these players
would be forfeit. In Grant's case, he was ruled academically ineligible which meant he was not in
'good standing' and ineligible to play a varsity sport until his marks improved.
